The Greatest Adventure is What Lies Ahead
It’s been literally years in the making, but the time we have been dreaming about finally draws near! We’re leaving our jobs next month and will begin traveling full time after Christmas!
We have been planning the trip more or less since we got married 3.5 years ago, and in earnest the past year or so. The whole planning phase has been many things – exciting and fun and challenging and overwhelming. We’ve read countless blogs, studied maps and made plans and then new plans again. The travel hacking has been almost a part time job but it has really paid off! We already have redeemed 1.4 million hotel points for 104 free hotel nights, and all 14 of our flights were booked for free (outside the fees) for 554,000 airline miles.
The final phase is packing and physically leaving all comforts that we have accumulated behind. We are both excited and anxious, but we have each other, our faith and family and gives us great comfort and peace.
